Yes.
T&M Rubber has been ISO-9002 and QS-9000 certified since 1998.

What is T&M's lead time?
T&M Rubber's standard lead time is only 5 weeks! †

Can we receive parts in less than the quoted lead time?
Yes, if it is a part we have made before.
We accept premium orders on a case-by-case basis.
The standard Break-In Fee for this is US$250 plus the cost of the parts. ††
Contact our sales department for specifics.
If it is a part that we have not made before, we typically do not accept premium orders as it is conceivable we might need to purchase tooling to obtain the correct Inside Diameter (I.D.).

Is there a tooling charge for your Lathe-Cut parts?
No, except for very large parts and for parts requiring an Inside Diameter finish other than "smooth".

What is T&M's minimum order requirement?
The minimum order for any line item is US$375 for items with an Inside Diameter (I.D.) less than 6.750 inches (17.145 cm) and made from any compound other than Viton, Fluorosilicone, Vamac, Thiokol, Cork & Rubber formulations, and HNBR where the minimum will be US$450.
The minimum is also US$450 for parts with an I.D. greater than 6.750 inches (17.145 cm).

How much do you charge for samples?
Up to 25 part samples are available for a US$125/lot charge for parts with an Inside Diameter (I.D.) less than 6.750 inches (17.145 cm) and made from any compound other than Viton, Fluorosilicone, Vamac, Thiokol, Cork & Rubber formulations, and HNBR rubbers.
Up to 25 part samples are available for parts made from the above materials and parts with an I.D. greater than 6.750 inches (17.145 cm) for a US$225/lot charge.

How long does it take for a sample order?
Typically 3 to 4 weeks, unless there is material development work required before we can make the parts.

Are parts checked during the production process?
Yes.
Parts are regularly checked throughout the manufacturing process.
In addition, your parts aren't considered completed until they have undergone a final auditing process to ensure the parts you get are to your specifications.

I need my parts to arrive on a specific day. Can you do that?
Yes.
Our shipping department will package and ship your parts according to your requested ship date.
We will only ship early upon your request.

Does T&M utilize Synchronous Manufacturing Flow to optimize process time?
Yes.
As soon as a part has completed its processing in one department and its critical characteristics have been checked, it then moves to the next department to begin its processing there.
It doesn't wait for the whole order to be processed through the department before moving on. †

Are T&M's systems capable of communicating via Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)?
Yes.
We are currently communicating via EDI using both the ANSI X12 and EDIFACT standards.
We also employ a variety of transaction sets among these two standards.

Can T&M provide bar coded shipping labels?
Yes.
We have a variety of label formats currently in use.
However, if your specific needs cannot be met by a format we are currently using, we can often customize a label to meet your specific needs.
This includes the generation and application of a variety of industry standard bar codes.
