Compounding Department

As with most production processes, the making of rubber parts begins with a bill of materials (more commonly referred to as a recipe).   The compounder will read the recipe and gather each of the ingredients from their respective bins.   Then, the compounder will weigh each ingredient according to the proportion indicated on the recipe.   When all of the ingredients on the recipe have been weighed, they are taken to the mixing room to be processed.
