The auditors in Final Audit take a proportional number of the cut pieces and measure them against the requirements of the spec.   This evaluation can take on a variety of forms depending on the attribute being evaluated and the size of the part.

    Once the samples have successfully passed the scrutiny of the auditors, the parts are approved and ready to be shipped.
